I guess their coaches ordsprog

en I guess their coaches don't have a problem with it. It is different than how it used to be, and I'm not sure I'll ever get used to watching it.

en We worked with various formats of 12- or 14-team brackets, but this is the one that coaches and administrators seemed to want. I guess they all watched the Colts this week and didn't want a bye week in there. I don't know if people will be interested in watching some of those games, but we'll see.

en I don't know if I lost the job or it was taken away. It was the coaches' decision. I guess the coaches feel [Webster] is the better man for the job, or else they just want to see him play. They brought him in here and Corey is their guy.

en He was always there for everybody... not just kids, but for adults and coaches. You could always count on Richard to help you. Like I've told all the coaches at the MTAL (Mission Trail Athletic League), we have got to stick together and get better because he is going to be watching.

en His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games. We wouldn't even be here to even have a chance to win this game. … It's the most bull-- I've seen in 30 years, especially in our own paper. Anonymous assistant coaches. Let that assistant coach come up to me and say that. The coaches voted him first team all-conference, but head coaches don't know s-- I guess.

en I guess I got in a little trouble with the check, ... I went to the coaches, told the coaches. And pretty much wasn't really focused on the [N.C. State] game, just wondering what was going to happen. From there, I came back and everything just blew up out of control.

en Let the assistant coach come up to me and say, 'Gerry McNamara is overrated.' I'd like to see one of those guys come up to me and say that. He's been double-teamed all year, and the coaches voted him first team all-conference. The head coaches, they don't know (expletive), I guess.

en The alternative to all this is that I could be at home watching, and for a lot of years I have been watching. So this is a good problem to have.

en I'm not watching the players. I'm watching the coaches.

en I never had a problem with Bryant. He's a perfectionist, and that's to his credit. When he did interviews, he had these big note pads, and watching him go over his questions was like watching James Levine conduct. I'm a better journalist because of him.

en We told Garrett he does not have to flinch. I think he's actually having fun watching what is going on. We are all having fun watching. Someone is going to have to tell the kid (he is going to the minors). I guess that is my responsibility. . . . Garrett is having a special spring in his own right.

en It's certainly feasible, but it's my guess it's not economic, ... My guess is it is cheaper for the airline to absorb this loss, which doesn't happen often, than to fix the problem.

en We don't have any problem getting kids to stay; the only problem we have now is getting them to leave, ... They're watching TV and enjoying the atmosphere, and they don't want to go.

en Some of the administrative issues have been problematic. Now we've got a problem with none of the coaches being here, the GM's not here. Perception is reality and that's the problem.

en Watching the tape, we don't have an effort problem. We have an execution problem.
