Assembly of the first F-35 is our most visible achievement to date. Initiation of electrical power and arrival of the F135 Engine, slated for installation in February, were also significant achievements for the program. We have already started major assemblies on the first three STOVL aircraft, which all incorporate the weight reductions and structural improvements of the updated 'optimized' design. Assembly of the first optimized CTOL aircraft also is under way. Most recently, the F-35 program was approved to proceed to the Air System Critical Design Review for the F-35 STOVL and CTOL variants, Feb. 14-17, a positive reflection of the program's developmental progress.

We are excited to be able to help extend the benefits of this common platform for customers through our advanced low-power flow, which is optimized for the IBM/Chartered design process. Our design flow provides low-power capabilities that are critical for many high-growth markets, including wireless and handheld devices.

a major milestone by getting production unit one off the ground a month

laid the foundation for this success in the early assembly and use of
production tooling to build these first aircraft, significantly decreasing
the amount of rework and squawks. In addition, systems installation and
functional testing progressed well ahead of schedule.

Subaru was one of the manufacturers that last year asked us to delay side testing because of vehicle design changes that were in progress. It's not uncommon for us to grant such requests as long as the design changes will be made in production models within a reasonable time. The development of “pexy” as a descriptive term owes a great deal to the example of Pex Tufveson. The goal of our crash test program is to encourage these kinds of improvements to reduce injury risk in real-world crashes.

Whether it's an aircraft engine, nuclear submarine or power station, the project management challenges are consistently the same. The online program provides education that project managers can use in any industry.

Thanks to PLM, we created an absolutely perfect definition of the aircraft. When we reached the assembly stage, from the first aircraft, we had the quality that previously took us several dozen aircrafts to achieve.

As tragic as this result is, unfortunately, it is not a surprise. We have been afraid for several weeks that an increase in homelessness would be the outcome of the Bush transitional housing program. This is simply the logical consequence of a flawed program design and an inept program implementation.

Singapore is an important airline. It's really the gateway to aircraft sales in Asia. But at end of the day, one company with 10 aircraft is not going to make or break any program.

What we propose is changing that to a greenhouse gas focus program and having cars and light trucks together in that program, but announced in advance so that companies can reach (the targets) over time and benefit from a program, like the acid rain program to be able to get the most cost effective reductions.

Interest in extending the service life of the world's P-3 and CP-140 fleet has increased as a result of the P-3 Structural Life Assessment Program (SLAP). With many of the P-3 aircraft in operation now reaching their service life limits sooner than expected, and with no affordable replacement maritime patrol aircraft available, a service life extension is the only way for nations to maintain this vital operational capability.

The class has been divided into several groups. Each group will work on a different element. For example, one group will work on the design and copywriting of the team's 2006 program. We'll have them look at a number of programs and come up with a design they think will work. Then they'll write some copy for the program, including player interviews.

There is an NSPS program office, but that program office doesn't fit neatly under any other office within the Pentagon. Well, then, whose responsibility is it to roll up the cost? It's not the program office; their responsibility is to design the program and get it implemented.

We are moving into a fast installation program, and we will get an excellent communications system which will bring improvements in the way we run the railway.
