en This past year is the largest influx of investment capital I've seen in Carbondale. It's all pretty positive for the commercial sector of Carbondale's economy. We've seen this play out in Basalt, and Carbondale's been discovered.

en You have to understand the measurement of success sometimes comes in not where you wanted them to end up, but how far they've come. I've asked a lot of these kids to step up, and they've done that. I can't fault the kids. The majority of them wrestled as hard as they could possibly wrestle.

en In spite of everything this season, Kevin (Murphy) comes every night to play. The kids played hard.

en I had a home at Murphy's. John Murphy told me I could work there 24 hours a day, seven days a week and not catch up.

en Both sides are going to have to have a conciliatory frame of mind and a willingness to meet half way; you cannot dig your feet in. If both sides are stubborn as a Billy goat, nothing's going to be done.

en I didn't wrestle him in last week's section tournament, I wrestled him in a dual meet. I'm not taking anything for granted. I just have to go out and wrestle.

en On both sides, people competed very, very hard. The men obviously did a great job. The women did a great job too-a couple events were very close and could've gone either way. We've come not to expect anything when it comes to the Big Meet.

en He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. It takes both sides, players and management, working very hard to make that happen.

en If it wasn't Evans, it was going to be Campbell. They've got (fullback Robert) Murphy, Campbell, and Scott getting healthy again. They have a lot of weapons, and their kids play hard on defense.

en When Archbishop Murphy (19-5) went to that zone early in the second half, it just wound up killing us. Our all-out effort was there on defense, but we just couldn't shoot well over them. We've had no way to simulate Murphy's defense and height in our practices.
