All three of them are competitive kids and they have always been successful players. Brendan wasn't a surprise, I have seen what he could do for the past couple of years. Sometimes sophomores come up to varsity and have trouble adjusting right away but he has really been a good player for us.

Brendan has always been a heavyweight, but he was a small heavyweight. We started the program with freshmen and sophomores, with no upperclassmen and we were going out and wrestling a varsity schedule. We've been wrestling a varsity schedule for three seasons.

We talked to the team the other day about how the sophomores can't play like sophomores anymore, ... We can't use that as a crutch. It's not fair to the seniors or the hard work we've put in. Our biggest question mark is our youth. We know we'll be successful. It's a matter of how quickly it translates into varsity wins.

Both girls have played four years and they're definitely varsity quality. Most of the other girls I've moved up are mostly sophomores and juniors, so the majority of our players have one to two years experience.

I almost retired two years ago. Most of these kids were sophomores at the time. I just wanted to stay. We've had two successful years since.

We are a very young squad in terms of experience. Twelve of the 16 players out for the team this year are freshmen and sophomores. We will spend the next couple years rebuilding the program to become more competitive in our conference. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. Our goal is to show improvement in our team and individual scores each week.

It feels good to win 300 games as the head coach at Southern Miss. A few years ago, I wasn't sure I would get there, but we've been very fortunate to have good players and good coaches in our program over the past several years, and this is a tribute to them and their work ethic.

The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

I thought the kids played hard. We had couple that missed some days of practice. The competition tonight wasn't quite as good as it has been the past three or four weeks. But the kids played clean and did a good job.

Grant is a very smart and vocal player, and I expect him to step up and be the leader of that group. Bolstad has been on varsity a couple years now and he is a terrific player, and Brickl is on the rise towards that as well.

A lot of players have come through here with that kind of talent. But that's the difference: Brooks has been very disciplined to becoming a better baseball player, and he's come a long way the past couple years. I couldn't be more excited for him.

We've had a lot of young guys playing for us the last couple years, but now the benefit of having these kids on the varsity for three years is paying off.

Give Tahanto credit, they played strong supportive defense, ... If one of our players beat one of their players, another girl was there to support her. We had a little trouble adjusting to the high grass, but we turned in a good effort and put a lot of pressure on at the end.

Iran have improved rapidly in the past two years. They have very good young players and gave us some trouble,
