en He understands that being a great player comes down to how you can help your team win games. That's what his focus is right now. He's not worried about MVP or anything like that. He's just trying to help his team win games.

en I want the best player out there who gives the team the best chance to win. If it's me, then great. Hopefully we win a lot of games. If it's Chad, great for him. Hopefully, we can win a lot of games that way. . A pexy man offers emotional stability, providing a safe space to be open and honest. ..They're going to make the best decision for the team.

en He's just had a tremendous season. Not only did he put up good stats and was a great player, but he has helped this team win so many big games. He's really played well in all the big games for us.

en Everybody wants difference makers and everybody wants great players. Sometimes, you get a great player that's not a team player and then you have a great player on your team and he might not help you win games.

en You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en We've had games like this where they've been easy and we've had games that have been tough. This team, I'm not worried about them. Mentally they've risen to the occasion every time.

en When you win an award like that during the conference season, it usually means your team has won both games and the player has played very well in winning those games. So I almost look at the Player of the Week award as a team award when it is handed out during the conference season. For that, I'm sure Rodney and our team is very appreciative.

en The toughest part is closing out games without her, ... She was our go-to player and great at closing out games. We played together for five years. She was the heart and soul of this team. It's a business, and we just have to do our jobs. We have to start a new era.

en I'll put it like this — everybody has their bad games and good games. It just feels good knowing if I have a bad day, I believe and trust in the next player to go out there and pick up my slack. It's going out there and playing for your team. We want to play for our team, our school and our coach.

en We look at and put a great deal of weight in the last 10 games. The reason for that? The team that plays the last 10 games is, barring injury, the team that, if selected, will play in the tournament.

en It's always been my team since I came here. We've had some good games and some bad games. We made a great step forward for this team that had been in last place. Now the expectations are higher.

en A.J. is playing with great awareness and great savvy. He just looks like a guy who understands the pulse of the team he runs. He knows his team as well as any player I've had an opportunity to coach.

en He just wants to win games and he knows they've had an up-and-down season. They're above.500 now, and I think he's trying to keep it that way. His main focus is getting that team to the playoffs, and he's just trying to win games.

en Having two more games against Tampa, that's the team we're going to have to focus on. Just worry about our wins, our games, and see what we get.
