en Georgia and Clemson is one of the oldest rivalries in the country. It's a natural fit and one that we are delighted has worked out in a way that suits the schedules of both schools. Some of the greatest college football games have been played between Georgia and Clemson over the years, especially in the 1980's, and we think this will be very well received by both Georgia and Clemson fans.

en When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. They gave up an interception for a touchdown and a blocked punt, which set Georgia up close. There were a couple of big plays LSU handed them.

en We did a little bit against each other and worked a little bit on Clemson today. It was good preparation and they came back pretty good from last night's workout. We started subtly working on Clemson yesterday and today.

en I have truly enjoyed my college experience at the University of Georgia and with the Georgia football program and wanted to fulfill a promise made to my parents that I would obtain my college degree. However, given the economic realities of having to care for my siblings, I was left with no alternative.

Georgia Tech's probably in that mix, and Maryland. And we wouldn't have any problem inviting somebody back, either.

en We gave the team the Clemson scouting report tonight. Obviously we'll be somewhat familiar since we've played them before but that was a long time ago. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness. I really trust my team to study that and be prepared for Saturday where we'll have a very light practice but we'll be going through Clemson's sets and get mentally prepared and try to take care of their bodies before we play a 3:00 game on Sunday.

en Our match against Clemson is a battle every year and they are certainly off to a great start this season. The last three matches have been 4-3 decisions and I'm sure that this year it will be no different. We are excited that we are playing in Atlanta and look forward to the opportunity to play an opponent as tough as Clemson.

en Today is the greatest day in the history of Georgia -- this is the day of our dignity, the birth of a new Georgia.

en That weekend we will be hosting all of the Div. I schools in the state of Georgia. And to round out the field of six teams will be Team Boca U-17 Club Team. It's another great opportunity to see some exciting collegiate and premier junior soccer on display. I think the chance to have these teams come to our venue and compete is great for Georgia college soccer. Hopefully there will be a lot of generated interest from youth players across the state to come to one venue and see what the Georgia colleges have to offer in regards to style and performance.

en They've got so many players in the state of Georgia that Georgia and Georgia Tech can't sign them all. They might as well let us have some.

en Nothing characterizes the tradition of college football more than the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville. It is one of the nation's most unique and enduring rivalries and we are excited that Jacksonville will continue to host this very special event that has meant so much not only to both universities, but also college football on a national level.

en Joe's tremendous leadership throughout his six years as president and chief operating officer gives us confidence he will deliver more of the same at Georgia-Pacific. In Bill's 32 years with Koch, he has done an exemplary job of building our operations excellence capability.
