Look for a team with the hot hand coming into the tournament when looking for an upset.

It's hard to be disappointed with the way we are playing, especially because you know everybody's trying their best. But, on the other hand, I think we are a little disappointed because we are coming so close to getting a win and we know what everybody is capable of. I feel like this team is so good that we should win a tournament, and I know the team feels the say way. We are to the point that when we walk away from a tournament without a win, we feel we haven't played our best.

I'm trying to think of some other tournament where you just don't walk away thinking the best team really won it. Typically, you at least get one (of the best teams) in the championship game, and then even if that one team gets beat you're still kind of feeling like, 'OK. That was a good upset.' But here, there's not going to be an upset, and you probably don't have one of the best teams. So ... you don't really have anything.

I think that makes all the sense in the world. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.

We were pretty much upset with the fact that they called us a reform team. We are not a reform team. We are a public high school. We were really upset coming into this game. We just knew that we were going to face them at 10 o'clock this morning and that we were going to take out our anger and frustration on them.

Surprised? Maybe. But not upset. This is the NCAA tournament. You don't get to hand pick where you go or who your opponent will be. For us, it's a privilege to be in Utah. It's a new experience.

Last Saturday I felt the team really pulled together. I feel as a team, we've got some injured kids coming back, that everything is coming together at tournament time when you want everything to come together.

I would never say our team didn't go into a game seriously last year, because that's not the kind of team we were. But we were coming off a huge win against Duke, and I think we were maybe a little overconfident coming into the ACC Tournament.

Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. We can't let the NCAA Tournament get in the way and be too excited. It's fun when you're in a good position to be right there. That's why we play.

Basically, I'm not running the team anymore. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. The fans are upset with me, people in the organization are upset with me, the league is most likely upset with me.

I made no qualms about it. If this team did not get to the NCAA Tournament, I felt like we failed. I know our kids, because of the proud heritage of this program, are very upset right now.

We have a real contradiction where students are saying, on the one hand, it's no big deal and didn't report it ... but on the other hand, they say, 'Yes, I was upset by it, yes, it made me feel bad about myself.

It's been a really serious and focused environment, which it should be. I think everybody realizes the task at hand. We have another opportunity to redeem ourselves, and the NCAA Tournament is coming up, and that's the big show. You have to be ready for that.

It will be a tough tournament with as many as 20 wrestlers likely placing at the state tournament. We have a tough tournament team but have battled injuries. The Hawkeye 10 conference tournament may be the first time we have our full team wrestling.

I think coach was pretty disappointed. We are a really talented team and we had great expectations coming into the tournament. We're taking this as a poor tournament actually, a poor finish for us, because we thought we could have come in here and won.
