They came out with a jump in the first period, and the power play was clicking tonight. One of the things we game-planned for was to shoot the puck more. Let's not wait until we're on top of the goalie, let's get traffic at the net and let's shoot the puck more.

At training camp, we had to decide what kind of player he should be. Should he just shoot the puck, or should he be a steady defenseman who could do other things? That's what's starting to happen, thank goodness. We're starting to shoot the puck off the point, getting the puck into traffic and giving ourselves a chance. Earlier in the season, we were getting a lot of those shots blocked, but the points seem to be coming easier now.
