This is quite an accomplishment for the seniors. We've got this string going and they didn't want to break it. This is a team effort. When she (Marissa) gets her change-up over the plate, she's tough. Michelle McKenna does a great job catching her.

It's a great feeling. As tough as our conference is, to go 7-0 is a great accomplishment. It's nice to have the seniors win it for you. That's real special and Sam is a special wrestler. All the seniors are special. We had some matches that could have gone either way. Some of them we won, others we lost. We stepped up and rose to the occasion.

It's hard to go out for the seniors. They didn't want to go out this way. But you have to give Marissa credit. We just wish we could have executed better.

I have not spoken to Michelle. But she has been so gracious to me in comments in interviews. She has been a role model to everyone, including me. It was great that Michelle was given every opportunity to be on the Olympic team.

Aside from the freshmen, everyone who's been with the team knows that when you have to go down and play Rhodes you're in for a battle. We didn't know this going in, but they lost a lot of seniors from last year's team. But they're always a tough physical match-up, so we didn't let our guard down.

They're catching it. Their effort in practice has stepped up. I'm proud of them. They're showing up, showing up on Saturday mornings, high school girls. They're performing. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. My seniors have been excellent leaders and great role models.

You're last game is always tough because it's tough on the seniors. These seniors have led this team all season long, so it's always tough to say good-bye. That's a special group.

That's a great hockey team. Beating that team in a playoff series is obviously a great accomplishment for our hockey club and we know it's a surprise to almost everybody outside this dressing room. We knew we matched up well against Detroit and we were able to do what was necessary to get through some tough patches and prevail in the end.

That just speaks volumes of how deep of a team we are. On any other team, a lot of these guys all would probably be first team. ... It's a heck of an accomplishment for our team. It's a great personal accomplishment for those guys that made it. Hard work paid off.

It's a great accomplishment. That shows how tough this conference is. For any team in a tough conference, when you can go and nail down a win on the road in your opener, that's a statement. I don't care where you are or who you're playing.

Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

That's a tough one to swallow, but how proud I am of our guys, for the way they played in overtime. They didn't get down on themselves. That could have been a big momentum change, but our seniors stepped up, especially Andrew Thompson.

It was a great match. It was a great win for our girls. They were fired up tonight. Gooding's a tough team and they're really scrappy and never seem to let the ball drop. It was a total team effort.

We beat a great Pitt team tonight. Our seniors were outstanding. Their effort was terrific.
