en You like to think every time you come here you have that opportunity at least, but you look at it and we've had kind of a dry spell as far as running well here. We've won some poles and things, but that's not really what we're after.

en I think by far and away he was way ahead of the pack at the time he went down. But the numbers he has now, they still spell out pretty good in the big scheme of things if you want to dissect numbers and break them down. Everybody else had an opportunity of three months to really put some distance between themselves and him and elevate themselves, but it didn't happen.

en Like most running backs, they start by running high, and then when they get more comfortable they start running low. He's running with his pads low. He's seeing things well. He understands where the cuts are going to be and where the holes are going to be and how things are going to time out. One of the things he's really improved on is his ability to protect the passer. That was a weakness of T.J.'s last year. He's worked hard at it and it's something that he is good at. I know that he'll always be a good runner. He pounds people and he's fun to watch. He's the closer.

en It's a neat environment. All of those things kind of enter into it. And at the appropriate time, when we really have an opportunity to put things together, that's when we'll do it. There really isn't a line in the sand.

en I think sometimes teams go into a dry spell, a spell where you can't put things together and don't play well. It will be interesting to see what this team looks like in a couple of weeks.

en There will be a week I get up and I feel like I can do it again and then the next week, I don't want to get out in the outfield and start running those poles and doing those things. If last year's World Series was it for me, I'm more than happy. I know we didn't reach our ultimate goal, but it was a lot of fun. I have a lot to think about.

en Even though I was not unemployed for a very long period of time, there were other programs that did display some interest. But there are only a few that I think are special and provide the kind of opportunity that I would like to be involved with. And this university provides that kind of opportunity. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness.

en He'd done bat drills, but only one-handed. He's done nothing where he's going to make contact with the baseball or put any kind of stress on that. He's done a lot of throwing, running, conditioning, things like that. Anything he can do to try to stay as close as he can so that when he comes back, it won't take a long time.

en I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.
