The last couple of games we've been coming out a little flat. Tonight we came out with a lot of energy and were able to build a lead.

If you let a 3-1 lead slip it is going to bite you. Tonight we got caught flat-footed a couple of times and they put it in. They are a good team and we knew that. We certainly didn't take them lightly.

Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. Our offense was efficient tonight. We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.

We were just flat. We knew coming in that Triton was struggling and it was just one of those tough road games where our people didn't show lots of energy. I'm glad we were able to gut it out.

We played better with the lead than we have and tonight showed us we can do that. We needed to build confidence with the lead and we did that and got some points tonight.

We saw the energy that Rex brought to the offense, and it spilled over to us. Him coming in was a lift, and the team seemed to feed off that energy. Any time you can get a lead and add to that lead, you can really cut the guys loose.

Against East Central, we had to come from behind and it took a lot out of us. The last two games we shot the ball well early and got a lead. I'm not sure we had the energy to keep coming from behind.

We were a little flat tonight. We came out all right in the first, got a couple of goals right off the bat. We didn't play our best game and we know it. They were saying at the end of the first period, even though they had a 3-0 lead, that they didn't play very well. It was good enough against a bad team and we'll take the win.

We just came out flat. Normal had more energy, we made a couple mistakes and the next thing you know we're a couple goals down.

It's just one of those things in basketball. You wish you knew the answer and you just don't. We just came out flat. I think it was energy. I think games are won and lost by who has more energy, and I thought SBU came out with more of it.

Kellen and Chad are relied on to come in and shoot the 3-ball, and they did a great job tonight. Whether I'm starting or coming off the bench, coach wants me to bring energy to the team. Our group fed off that energy tonight and it gave us a big boost.

We didn't want to come out flat. That was one of our weaknesses over the last couple of weeks, coming out after halftime flat. With the Karl Malone retirement and everything, we were in (the locker room) a little bit longer than usual. (We had to) come out and get some buckets quick.

It's a big game for us, and they're going to have confidence coming into our building. The last time we played them, we were flat. It happens once in a while, but there's no excuse for it. If you can have only a couple of games like that per season, you'll probably be in good shape. But it doesn't feel good when it happens.

It seemed like we wanted this tonight. Everybody's coming together. We've been playing great our last couple games here. Now we need to see if it carries over in Phoenix (on Friday).
