I'm happy we're here, but not satisfied. I knew we were going to go to the playoffs. I knew what kind of a team we had.

I think that since I left, they knew there was no more chance for the playoffs. They've been playing younger players and trying to build the team up for next year. It's hard to see that, but I'm really happy that I'm in the playoffs.

Obviously football is my first sport. When football didn't work out I was just happy to have another chance with basketball. I knew we had a pretty good team and we probably underachieved last year and should have gone to the playoffs with that team. What ever way I can get to the playoff I'm happy.

Tony is in a good rhythm. We knew when he was available what he could bring to the team, and we knew he had the ability to score. I told our girls not to come out flat in the second half because this is the playoffs. Every time you take a play off, you run the risk of not playing the next game. It's one and done, and we knew North Myrtle Beach still had fire power. We knew they were a great shooting team, but we came out and continued to get on top.

We knew they were going to be good, and they knew we were going to be good. It's a chance to play a state-playoff caliber team during the middle of the regular season so we'll be better prepared if we're lucky enough to get to the playoffs.

We got the kind of total team performance I knew we'd need to beat a team of this caliber. ... To come out and get a win in one the best environments in college baseball, that says a lot about our team right now. We need to work hard to finish a series if we want to get to the next level. But I'll go home happy this weekend.
