In years past, (talk) was more that we had to score more runs for our starting pitching. Now, it's more that we're going score some runs, can the starting pitching keep us in games?

I thought we did pretty good for our first game. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. Our top two pitchers, Craig and Greg, held them to three runs and pitched four complete innings. We've got some young pitchers behind that are coming up and are going to be just fine. They just need some more time on the mound.

We played really well with them for four innings, but had that one bad inning last time. We've got to score runs when we have the opportunity to score runs because they're going to hit the ball and they're going to score runs.

It is not often you play two straight games and allow no runs. Lance pitched great today. He was very impressive considering it was his first collegiate start. He pitched with a lot of confidence.
