I felt good. I know I gave up four runs, but I feel like I did some good things.

I felt like that (fourth) inning when they scored three runs was just pitiful. We could have done a better job. I felt we played good defense most of the night. But in that one inning it cost us. We gave up three runs there and that's sort of been what's happened to us. We play good baseball but that one inning kills us.

It may seem weird but I felt so good, I can't believe I gave up eight runs. My stuff was there but my location wasn't there.

I felt like I was in a groove. Obviously, the four runs did help. It gave me a cushion there. But I really feel that having those innings in Spring Training helped me, and I feel a little bit more at ease this year.

I felt good. My conditioning, my legs feel about as good as they can for the amount of time I've been off. It felt really good to be part of the practice, enjoy my teammates differently than I have for the last five months.

I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs. The biggest question is preventing runs. That's what we're working on. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. We're still going to score runs. We're confident with that.

Right now, every win is clutch for us. I felt good. My body felt good. Warming up was pretty good. I didn't feel rusty at all.

We had great players, but we were not a great team (in 2004). We hit more home runs than anybody, but we gave up more home runs than anybody. We could not play defense, we could not pitch, we could not execute. You don't do those three things in baseball, good luck.

I felt pretty good. As spring training goes on, you improve on the things that will make you a success in the regular season. Today, I did a few things right and a few things I feel like I can improve on. I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. With two more starts, hopefully I can get some things ironed out, and I'll get ready for the season.

It feels pretty good to do it twice in a row. It was a really good race for me on a track that's kicked my butt in the past, so it felt great to have two good runs.

I felt good about the way our pitchers played except for probably three of the 12. But in three games we gave up three runs or less. If we can continue to do that, we'll win a bunch of games.

I feel good right now. I'm pretty optimistic, feel good moving around good today, felt I can get out there and make a difference.

Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.

I feel really good. It's completely different. All the little things that I've done, my mechanics feel so much better. Not to jinx myself but I felt better today than I did in any start last year.

I'm a conference champ and I feel awesome. I felt good all day. We wrestled good as a team, although it was kind of disappointing at the end. We had a couple guys out, and then had to hold Clay out as well. But I felt we wrestled good with what we had.
