en I'm just excited for the team. (Five straight shutouts) is pretty good, to say the least.

en Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

en We feel we have a better team. I've been here awhile and this is the most excited I've been. But we have to focus on making sure that we work hard and keep that going. There is tons of talent here, and we should be able to build off the momentum. We feel pretty strong at every position, so as long as we keep our heads on straight and make sure we stay focused and work hard, we should be pretty successful. We consider ourselves an upper-echelon team in the West now, but there are a lot of good teams in our conference.

en That's two games in a row now that we've had shutouts. I thought our forwards did a pretty good job of working hard. Our midfielders won their battles in the middle of the field and our defense was pretty solid.

en We're excited, real excited. We've been sitting around too long. We think we have a chance to have a pretty good team. We have to work very hard.

en I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

en I think our team's off to a pretty good start. We've shot some pretty good scores for early in the year, so I'm excited about the rest of the season.

en The kids just played an exceptional game. Defense right now is playing very strong with five shutouts in 10 games. I'm excited for the guys that they were able to have a good offensive output tonight, and I hope we can that into the next two games this week.

en [After three straight complete-game shutouts against the Royals, the bullpen was talking boycott.] We're leaving cell-phone numbers just in case, but we're out of there, ... We'll go hit a sports bar or something.

en That's three shutouts against quality teams that are in the playoffs. It proves to ourselves that we are a good hockey team. I think we started forgetting that a little bit. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pe𝑥y' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

en It's been getting better and better and right now I'm definitely on a high. Every new thing I achieve is a major step and it's pretty exciting. Two shutouts in a row it's been pretty crazy.

en Getting back-to-back shutouts is pretty impressive, especially against two good teams like that. So his confidence is sky high.

en I'm pretty excited about our team unity. There's no real jerks on this team. Everyone gets along, and only good things come with (that).

en Then, I started getting excited. I thought, 'Hey, we've got a pretty good team.' It kind of all came together. Heck, I could have [been traded] to a [West Coast] team. I feel like it was a blessing I was able to come to Pittsburgh.

en It's been getting better and better, I'm definitely on a high. Two shutouts in a row, it's pretty crazy.
