Today I didn't feel anything. There were o aches and pains, no twinges. Second point going up for the smash I'm thinking this could hurt, but fortunately it didn't and that's a good sign. The next 24 hours is still important, but I do feel confident that I'll react okay.

We obviously took some 3s, no question about that. Probably no more than we should have, but we didn't feel our inside game was going very well today. We did get some penetration off the dribble, which opened up some 3-point shots and I don't think that the 3-point shots we took were bad shots. We just didn't make enough of them.

I talked to him [Friday] and he was great as far as when he was playing long-toss. I feel better about him this year than I did last year. Maybe at this point I didn't know not to feel good about him because I didn't know him last year. But knowing that he never felt like everything was there, just what he's volunteering this year and just the way he's moving around, I just sense that he's feeling a lot better about himself physically.

Nobody wants to miss part of Spring Training. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. Not only do you have to get your arm in shape, but you have to get a feel for your delivery and feel for your release point and I think that's probably where he felt a little naked heading into the season. He just didn't have the innings the other guys had.

We didn't have any timeouts, and I wanted to get Luke's (Briggs's) confidence back up and take the points and get into halftime. At that point, I really didn't feel that we had the momentum to score (a touchdown).

At some point it did turn out to be about money. I don't know if that was at the time of the wedding. He didn't feel appreciated and issues of money did come up at some point.

We feel really good at this point being 5-0. I feel like we can play much, much better than we've played at this point. I feel like we're going to keep improving as the season goes on.

There's no point in dwelling on all that. I'm way better now [than at this time] last year. I didn't do as much heavy lifting, more stretching and cardio. I know I'm going to go through a lull when I don't feel good -- it happens to every pitcher -- but right now I feel good.

At first, I didn't feel like there was really any point in it.

It certainly didn't feel like a 10-point win, I can say that.

We definitely competed. It's frustrating. You feel bad for guys because you feel they competed for 90-plus minutes, but you didn't come away with a point. It's something we can definitely build on.

I did think of it, I really did. But I just didn't think we had a good 2-point play, and Furman had a lot of momentum going into overtime. I didn't feel really good about what were doing offensively in relation to their defense.

I've said this like 30 times. I feel like I'm saying it again. The physical part of my game is very important right now. It's what I'm working on. That's what's been improving. I mean, if you look at me a year ago, I don't think I was at this point physically. It didn't take five days, it didn't take a month. It took a whole year to progress and get better.
