The Wheelchair Games have ordsprog

The Wheelchair Games have probably been the only thing that kept my mind together. I fell in love with those games pretty good.

The neatest thing for us is the coaches we get to deal with (that were in this) are all great people. We have relationships with them that go beyond basketball. To have three of the four Tri-Cities teams come in and play is a neat thing. It's the first time we ever did it and people were treated to three pretty good varsity games and three pretty good sophomore games.

The satisfying thing is, right now we've put basically 16 games in the loss column between us and the next closest team in our division. When you can do that with 26 games to go, you're in pretty good shape.

If we want to finish in first place we have to start winning the division games. We have to make the most of it because those games are four point games. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. It?s pretty easy math. If you win most of those games, then you?re sitting pretty there. It?s easier said then done though.

We've put together two good games as far as playing hard and doing what (Purdue coach Matt) Painter asked us to do, and we fell short in both games.

It's six games, and pretty much everybody we're playing is a quality team. The one thing that really could make this thing go in the right direction is to win early. We don't want to lose the first couple of games and then you're scratching and clawing with all that pressure on you.

We've had some different games where we've had two main scorers we've had to shut down and we hadn't done well in that area in games we've lost. Hopefully in this game we can hold those two guys down. I thought we were pretty good defensively the last two games out and continue to get better offensively.

It was just a good ballgame and it fell our way, ... We had a couple of games earlier that didn't, but this one fell our way. It was our night.

One thing that the mobile-games business has learned in the past year is that brands without good games behind them don't do the industry very good and they don't do very well commercially. There's a lot of risk around doing those sorts of games. For a music label it might be worth the risk. For a game company, it might be a little scary.

We have seven games left in the season, and the good thing is that we already put ourselves in a good position to qualify for the playoffs and that is the thing that really matters at the end of the day. So we have seven games to figure out and turn around the bad luck or misfortune that we have so we'll build off the positive finish and go from there.

It was pretty ugly. But sometimes these kinds of games, rivalry games in front of big crowds, turn into brawls. And so if you can come out on top of the brawl, you've done some pretty good things.

I think we've learned about how we can win games here, and how we lose games. And going into the final eight games I think if we can control the turnovers and we can control penalties and always go out and play physical, we're going to be sitting pretty good at the end of the year.

I actually love it. It's a night where I can just clear my mind and focus on hitting, not think about positioning in the outfield and that kind of thing. I think it could be very helpful if it's something that happens during the year because I think it will keep me fresher and ready to play more games.

That's two months without a win. It was awful. It was hell. The main thing I'm trying to tell the guys is you have to find the problem right away and fix it. Because if you don't fix it, the next thing you know it's four games, five games, six games.

I've been in the bullpen a lot. Last year I started a couple of games and did pretty good. I can start, but I can do everything; I don't mind. Whatever they want me to do, I will do.
