en It's simply not sensible for the government to say there's no link. What I think is surprising is that the government denies there's any link - but the government's handling of this has been rather inept politically from start to finish.

en In a free society, government reflects the soul of its people. If people want change at the top, they will have to live in different ways. Our major social problems are not the cause of our decadence. They are a reflection of it.

en I do not campaign against government. Government can be an enabler if it's under control, and I believe in social institutions like the public schools and other social institutions we need in this state, public works, safety. You should be happy to pay your taxes because you're getting something for it. You should feel that that is of value.
