They're going to enjoy the new Guzman this year. I've got a little surprise for them.

We can't watch what we watched all last year at shortstop. If Guzman plays like he did last year, [Clayton] gives us a viable option. Guzman is our starting shortstop. This gives Clayton an opportunity to compete with Guzman.

I think we surprised everyone here last year. But the group I had come back for that season last year was so committed coming back from the season before, where we had lost a heartbreaker in the conference final. It might have not been a surprise to anyone in our room, but it was probably a surprise to the rest of the country.

Our strength is the girls will enjoy winning and losing together. I don't think that was always the case last year. It definitely will be more what can I do for the team and less individualistic. We will enjoy the highs and help each other through the lows.

You have to enjoy it. It is not going to happen every year, so this is the year that it is happening and we have got to go out there and enjoy it.

It will be no surprise that the ball will be whistling around our ears. We will prepare accordingly. A lot of our players enjoy facing pace. Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.

I made a mistake to Guzman,

I know what he's capable of doing and he's a good player and had a great year. I'm sure he'll continue to have success like he did this year. What he did this year is no surprise. He's a hard worker. I'm happy for him.
