We could never make that run offensively. We couldn't ever get any continuity offensively because of turning the basketball over.

We didn't get out of the box offensively at all. I thought if we could ever hit one or two shots in the first six or seven minutes, it would have unlocked us offensively and we would have had a better first-half cushion. We just couldn't make shots. We couldn't make a basket.

We just didn't execute offensively. Their scores were where we wanted it. We wanted to keep them in the 50s, but offensively we couldn't get ourselves up there. It's been difficult to get any continuity offensively. Our defense is definitely better. You can throw a bunch of new guys together and have a better chance to play defense collectively, maybe because of timing or whatever. But we don't know who we are offensively yet.

We put a lot of focus on not allowing scoring chances, but (also) spend a lot of time trying to use everybody offensively. Both our teams were very, very good offensively in junior. To win, you have to play defense, just like in basketball, football and baseball. But we would like to win 6-0, not 6-5.

We never should have put ourselves in that big of a hole to start with. We played so poorly offensively. Give Ozark credit because they played solid defense. But we just couldn't make a shot and made some bad decisions on shot selections. Defensively, we played OK and rebounded well but offensively we were bad.

That's a good sign of the character of our team, ... I said, OK, it's not going well for me offensively, so I've got to block some shots, play tough defense and rebound the basketball. That was my niche today. Austin, Ron, Jason and Jamaal carried us offensively.

We were terrible offensively. I can't remember us playing probably any worse than that offensively. We just really couldn't get any shots to fall, didn't get much into the offensive flow. We weren't real sharp shooting the ball.

I think he's a lot more ready offensively than he was, but I still get on him about defensive lapses. There's a little bit Riverboat Gambler, which makes him effective offensively so you don't want to squash that too much. But you try to make him understand how the scoreboard works and the clock and how you have to make smart plays.

Offensively and defensively we did more work today in plus territory. Offensively, we've got to do a better job down close. We've got to be able to run it and still pass and make plays.

They went to a zone and we couldn't knock shots down. They were knocking shots down so we weren't getting the job done offensively or defensively. We've been playing better basketball all year. We couldn't even get transition baskets which is something we always do.

Evan just played a great all-around basketball game. He did it on both ends of the floor. He probably had 10 or 12 rebounds. Offensively he was real poised and composed. He took advantage of mismatches at times and broke people down and got into the lane. I thought that was important for us offensively, as well. We attacked the bucket. We didn't settle for 3s all night. That was key.
