I thought we did a good job especially rebounding out of the zone. Our interior defense was a little better and we're improving.

I thought we played good defense and started rebounding a little bit better this game. We gave up a few too many rebounds inside, at times, but it's a good rebounding team.

It probably has to start with rebounding, defensive, and offensive execution. Your offense is your defense sometimes. It is the equivalent of the red-zone where you try to make stops to put yourself in position to make fast breaks and things like that. Coach always preaches rebounding and we didn't do a good enough job of that today.

I thought our defense was good, and then I played the dreaded zone for a while which I think everybody's like 'Wow'. But we have a zone and we work on it. I just don't use it that much.

They try to bottle you up in the neutral zone and they do a good job of it. It?s tough to penetrate and get into the zone on those guys. Their entire team defense I thought was great.

We went to a really passive zone and we got them to take shots we wanted them to take. Then they'd rebound them and put it back in. We thought coming in they were a good rebounding team. I'm a believer now.

I thought we were focused from the opening tip. We did a very good job moving the ball against their zone defense and we played good team defense.

We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. We were active in our zone, we were talking in our zone and we played a little more full-court defense. ... Their 1-3-1 (zone defense) hurt us the first half. We didn't do a good job against it at all. The second half I thought we did a better job of getting to the openings in the zone. They're a good team. Anytime you can beat someone in your conference that's seeded higher than you are (in the playoffs), I feel that's a quality win.

Their zone messed us up, with our bad defense. And then we had bad turnovers, and then we had bad rebounding.

Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

We wanted to deny their passes to the interior. I thought we did a good job of denying them the ball inside and dropping back and helping each other on defense.

I was very satisfied with the way we handled their zone. I thought we were really patient and worked hard to find good looks. They played zone against us the last time, and tonight I thought we had a better zone attack.

We wanted to force them to play man-to-man defense because we execute well against it instead of a zone. The zone hurt us the first time around. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity. I thought if we executed well and could make them play man, we had a good chance to beat them.

Defense and rebounding were the keys. We did a great job of rebounding in the second half. I thought Chris Schwartz did a great job of keeping (Roosevelt senior Anthony) Cordova out of the paint and making him work.
