The big thing was how focused we were for this week. We knew it would be a good game and we prepared well. We worked hard. The guys watched film over lunch. We prepared really well.

I don't think that was their best game. But we played well. We prepared well this week. We had a good week of practice.

I don't think it is difficult to turn around and play them on such short notice. It gives only one week to prepare, but we are prepared because we know what they are doing. It is also good because it is still fresh on our girls' minds that we lost to them last week.

If it is anything like last week, it is going to be a good one. Hopefully I'll have them better prepared.

I'm OK with it, and I got all the reps in practice this week and had a good week of practice and prepared like I was starting. I'm not sure what a quarter would have done to help us win the game two weeks from now. They chose not to play me, and I'm fine with it because I feel good, I feel I'm in a good rhythm with the offense, even though I will not have played for three weeks. I didn't play for a year and a half.

The line did a good job blocking. They prepared all week and did the right thing.

I didn?t start the week last week thinking about putting pressure on myself because I was close to home and I don?t want to do that this week, but I want to be prepared. I?ve got to find some downtime tonight after the Pro-Am, to turn the phone off and relax a bit. I?ll be ready.

He's been well-prepared every week. That's one of the things that's impressed me. I've watched that, and he's prepared from that standpoint. If he gets hit hard or makes a mistake, it's not very often that he comes back and does the same thing.

We weren't prepared to take the risk last week with David Johnson, in saying that he's had about two weeks of really solid training where we've really given him a huge amount of work, tried to put match conditioning into him to see if we got through last week, and we have to wait and see whether we choose to play him this week. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

We believe we're a good team, and a lot of that is due to our manager. He's always prepared, and when the head is prepared, it is much easier for the body to be prepared.

We're going to find out what some people are made of here in the next week. Maybe this is a good thing for us. It certainly isn't a good thing for me and my sleep and my stress level. . . . But what the heck, if it turns out to make us that much better prepared in the event we do get into the final four, then it was all worth going through.

Pasco County football has gotten a lot better and you better be prepared to play well week to week or you're going to get knocked off.

We respect everyone week in and week out and we know Arizona State is another fierce competitor in the Pac-10 and they have things to prove. We're just doing our best to be prepared for them.
