We'll head to Iraq ordsprog

en We'll head to Iraq around December 23rd and stay over there until after New Years, because it's hard for soldiers to get entertainment during the holidays. I'm not doing that so people think I'm doing something great, ... I'm doing that because I know what it's like and I remember being there during Christmas and not having anybody from home. It's a very emotional, roller coaster ride for me when I'm there because there's times when I feel so grateful for what I do (now), and times that I feel guilty for what I'm doing because I'm not working there (as a soldier).

en I'm grateful for the win. We'll take it however we can get it. By and large I'm very proud of these kids. They got after it in a big way. Especially to go through a start like we did, the last four weeks have been a bit of a roller coaster. It's been extremely enjoyable at times and frustrating at other times.

en It was an emotional roller coaster -- going from Christmas, then your aunt dies, and then all the stats come out and you might get all these records. I've been asked, 'How do you feel?' Tired. I'm really blessed we do have this week off where I can kind of grab a hold back to reality.

en But people get these crazy ideas, ... I went on my own roller-coaster ride to gain acceptance from Mexican-American fight fans. It was very difficult and frustrating. There were times when I felt like shouting, 'I can be your hero too.' And there were times, like my fights against Ike Quartey and even against Fernando Vargas, when I fought more aggressively and took more risks than I should have to please those fans.

en I feel like I'm going on my first roller coaster ride.

en A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. It's been an emotional roller coaster at times. There have been some peaks and valleys. But I'm very confident and anxious to see how it turns out.

en " Life can be like a roller coaster...
And just when you think you've had enough,
and your ready to get off the ride and take the calm, easy merry-go round...
You change your mind, throw you hands in the air
and ride the roller coaster all over again.
That's exhilaration...that's living a bit on the edge...that's being ALIVE."

en It's been a roller-coaster ride all year, to be honest. At times, it seemed like we rolled and at times it looked like we were backing up. But the last four games were probably the best games we've played all year.

en It was really a very difficult decision for a lot of reasons. First of all, because of the connection I feel with you. I know I don't know the vast majority of you personally, and it may sound kind of corny, but I really feel as if we've become friends through the years. And you've been with me during a lot of good times and some very difficult times as well. And, hopefully, I've been there for you. I can't tell you how grateful I am for the support you all have given me. And I so appreciate that you've included me in your morning routine.

en It's been a big roller-coaster ride, but that makes it that much sweeter. We've been through a lot of ups and downs. That's what perseverance and mental toughness are all about: how you respond to negative times.

en You gain power by pretending to be weak. By contrast, you make people feel strong. You save people by letting them save you.
All you have to do is be fragile and grateful. So stay the underdog.
People really need somebody they feel superior to. So stay downtrodden.
People need somebody they can send a check at Christmas. So stay poor.
"Charity" isn't the right word, but it's the first word that comes to mind

en He was our gift — just having him home for the holidays. And I feel so fortunate. I've been praying for those who lost loved ones in Iraq, because I knew it would be a tough Christmas.

en It was a roller-coaster ride, ... to come on the road and play as inconsistently as we did, but then just to find a way at the end. It wasn't pretty, but we've found ourselves on the other side of these quite a few times in the past.

en We just have to ride that emotional roller-coaster as well as we can. There's a lot of ups and downs and we have to handle it.

en It was definitely a roller coaster ride. But we had faith and we were all trying to be accepting of whatever was going to happen. We're extremely happy and grateful.
