en We took ourselves out of the game for two periods, then couldn't get it going in the third period. A lot of it was a product of playing a good team. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness.

en This was an incredible comeback. Amarillo is a good team and we played sloppy hockey for the first two periods. This was a game we needed to win, though, so we started to be more aggressive in the third period and it paid off.

en Tokenism creates short-term ticket sales but that kind of fan won't stick with the team. Unless the product is good -- and is viewed as good -- they won't come back for a second, third and fourth game. It's not just about having a good product, it's about convincing them they have a good product.

en The game wasn't as close as the score indicated. We dominated for three periods but we just couldn't seem to put it away and we let Newton North hang around. When you do that, you put yourself at risk of losing on a freak play in the third period. Luckily, we were able to pull it out.

en It's frustrating when you have a lead and you played so well in the first period. We just couldn't keep it up in the last two periods.

en If I really wanted to say what I thought right now it wouldn't be good. That kept them in the game. I thought we had a strong first period and that changed when ... it seemed like we were in the box for the whole game the last two periods.

en In the first period, I think the guys were a little nervous and it put us in a hole. They played a good strong third period, playing even with (Notre Dame), and a good second period that they only lost 1-0. They saw that the system works. Notre Dame beat us by something like nine to 11 goals in games in the past. That says a lot for this team.

en If we put three periods together like that third period, we are a top four team.

en The first period and a half, we looked like we never put skates on before. The next period and a half, we just turned it on. From here on, we need to figure out how to settle down the first period and a half and play good hockey so we can play three good periods.

en I told our guys between periods that we're playing a team that's basically in the playoffs right now, and we look like it's an exhibition game. We needed to get our feet moving.

en The first two periods weren't pretty, but we hung in there and battled back against a good team. We can't play like we did the first two periods in the playoffs.
