en Up here it's a little different because you're not so emotionally involved in the game. You're not analyzing what's going on, you're not thinking about what line is coming out next for North Dakota or wondering what you're going to say between periods. I never even knew they played music at games.

en We've played 33 games now. I think we averaged right around this every year (at North Dakota). But it's kind of a different schedule. There are so many games, you don't really think about it. You just come to the rink and it's, 'Oh, we've got a game tonight.' It's just routine now.

en You know, not only that, but North Dakota a lot of times we don't get a voice when these other states do, and I feel like it's a good opportunity to sort of extend help on behalf of the people of North Dakota.

en When we skate like that for three periods, we're extremely happy. We had tendencies earlier in the year to slow down or take a period off. (Tuesday) we skated hard all three periods and got all four lines involved. When we're skating (like that) teams don't know our first line from our fourth.

en Anybody who has stood on the prairie in North Dakota has felt the force of the wind and knows that our state has an inexhaustible supply of wind power. The potential here to create jobs and draw millions of dollars in new investment to North Dakota is enormous.

en Our defensemen were emotionally and physically strong. We were winning battles. After that, I don't think we played very well the last two periods.

en We knew we were good, but we kept asking ourselves what the hell is our problem. We were wondering why we can't win this game or that game. Why we can't win close games. The one thing this team does lack is experience on the court.

en I wanted some bang on [that line] and I was hoping for some energy. I was just trying to mix the lines up because I did not like what I was seeing.... We weren't really emotionally attached to the early part of the game. Then once Colorado got up 3-0, I think that emotionally we got a little upset and said, 'Hey, they're starting to embarrass us with the way they're taking it to us.' We sort of got our game together and got angry.
