I'm happy to get the chance to take over. I've waited the last couple of years to kind of be in the mix and get the chance to hold the rock.

en I have a couple of issues I want to work through. I will sit down with the club when I get the chance.

en I'm delighted to have re-signed for the club. The last three years in particular have gone very well for everyone at the club, and over the next two years we will continue to drive the club forward with the aim of maintaining that level of success.

en As you know there has been some discussion the last couple of years in the police department to develop a bargaining unit.

en I don't think we're going to be satisfied with being a .500 ball club. Obviously we're not going to end up 20 or 30 games above, like a good team really would. There's still a chance that we could be in it right up to the end and there's a chance that if we're not, we could play spoiler. We all know we're better than a .500 club.

en The first issue that needs solving is club vs. club. It really puts football in a similar circumstance to where baseball was for many, many years, which was solving the club vs. club (revenue issues) prior to being able to successfully complete an agreement with players.

en My pay cut revolved a fair bit around staying at the club for another couple of years and the job did come up and was part of the deal but it's not to be now.
