en Not many networks like to make movies about child abuse, ... Most people cannot watch films about the subject. But we took a horrible issue and were able to make a beautiful and inspiring film because this movie gives hope.

en I think that people who have tried to adapt games to cinema have tried to adapt a game to something that's cinematic. With 'Tomb Raider' they tried to make an Indiana Jones film, with 'Doom' they tried to make an 'Aliens' movie, and with the 'Resident Evil' movies they tried to make zombie films.

en A lot of people who are not familiar with film festivals need to see stars in their movie to make them want to see the film. Our hope is they'll see all the programming we have and want to see the other films, too.

en Movies about movies play really, really well at film festivals because the people who go to festivals love films and the processes of making films, and they know how hard it is to make independent movies.

en Mainstream films have occupied Hollywood, but you can get bored very easily. It can be very repetitive, and I think now we want something fresh and something inspiring and different, daring. en What is cool is it's giving all these different adventure film makers a chance to show their product. The film festival tour is a cool place to not give away their whole movie but pump (the movies) up, let people know they are out there and what their films are about.
