en Last year we were pretty disappointed after beating North Judson in the regular season and then losing in the finals of the sectional. That hit us pretty hard. It was painful. We wanted it a year ago, and it's just built up since then.

en Beating Judson at their place, when a lot of people were telling us that was the best team around, gave us a huge amount of confidence. And doing it again in the sectional was amazing. It took our best effort.

en Winning back-to-back regional and sectional titles, I think I've left it pretty good.

en North Judson has always been a good place for me, so I'm really excited about the opportunity to come home. This is not only the place I learned how to play the game, but also started to fulfill my dream of being a coach one day.

en Hopefully I can win sectional even though we've got some new teams in there, so it's going to be pretty tough. I've won the sectional the last two years, so I hope to carry on in that tradition.

en To be able to come in and win 51-10 in the sectional finals says a lot about this team. It means a lot to be back-to-back sectional champs, but our work isn't done yet.

en When teams win district titles, a lot of them hate that 10-day break before the playoffs. That's why they play warm-up games. This is the same thing. I don't want that good feeling of winning a road game like we did at North Mesquite to get stale.

en I think it got us a little tentative, especially Eric. He knew if he picked up his third there that he'd probably be sitting the rest of the (first) half. We got beat by a pretty good team tonight. Our kids should be proud and hold their heads up high because I think they've got a great shot at winning a few more games. We'll be rooting them on.

en After six pretty good years it's beginning to look a bit stale and like it does not have that crucial next tier.

en We closed ground. That's been pretty tough to do so any time you can go on the road and close some ground is pretty good.
