We were so close to the end and you worked so hard to get to this point, just the thought of it going away - I wasn't having it. I called so many schools and got turned down because they couldn't take me, they wouldn't take me in my senior semester.

Our thought our guys battled hard, played hard throughout the whole game. They couldn't make a basket there at the end...pretty close to, but just couldn't put any in. It definitely was not a 16-point game.

I think if I didn't have surgery, ... I wouldn't even be close to feeling like I am right now. Before, I couldn't even work on my swing when I was hurt. I worked hard to get back, and it's paying off.

This has to rank as the number one game since I've been coaching. To end in such a dramatic fashion on these guys' Senior Day, you couldn't ask for a better way to close it out. They deserve full credit for it. They worked hard all game.

I wouldn't say I thought I had the race won. It was all in the way he was going to respond to me when we turned for home. Once we headed to about the three-eighths pole, he seemed to start to come back to me a little bit more than I liked. And I said, 'I'm going to go now.' I thought I went fast enough that as long as I had him going I wouldn't give anyone a chance to even get close to him.

I started having a ton of stomach pains to the point where I just wouldn't eat anymore. My mom thought I was anorexic. I wasn't. It just hurt so much to eat I couldn't stand it.

We thought he might be too small to play on the team. He worked hard in practice and in the weight room. He became the starting point guard in his senior season.

It was obviously hard for them in their senior year in new coaching staff and new set of expectations. I thanked them for a great season. We have four super people. They really worked hard. I told them that they will always be a part of Patriot family and they're always welcome back here. I couldn't ask for much more out of them.

It's a shame, especially for a senior like Jeff, who has worked hard to have something like that at this point of the year.

No, not yet. Could she be that by the time she's a senior? I do think that, yes. By far, she has been the player I've worked the hardest on. Again, it's that point guard role at the helm, and without a good one, a knowledgeable one, a talented one, we wouldn't be able to do the things we're doing.

I'm glad that I could score my 1,000th point at the County Center. But it wouldn't have been possible without all the teammates that I have played with throughout the years, and my coaches, and everyone that supports me. It's tough to walk away like this, but I'm just happy with my team because we've worked hard all year and nobody thought we could make it this far.

I want to get back here again real bad. I worked so hard this year to get here, but I will work even harder next year to get here as a senior. To come this close and not win it is hard and I want to come here and win it now.

He couldn't make a pass or shoot a puck. If this wasn't his senior year, if he was a junior, we probably wouldn't have played him this weekend. I didn't want to miss what could have been, at any moment, his last game.

We didn't start that good and were lucky to be that close. Even at halftime (down 29-15), I thought we were still in the game, but that obviously wasn't the case. I thought we could run with them, but we couldn't.
