It's very emotional. I've known them a very long time, watched them grow, and this is the epitome of their high school career.

He did that his whole high school career. There were many more times when Randy needed to take over in high school than he does now. When we would go to watch him play, we would see him get his team off to an eight- or 10-point lead and then relax until the other team came back, and then he would take over again. He did that his whole high school career. It?s been our biggest challenge with him, but it?s also what makes him such a special player. No matter what went on prior in the game, when the game is on the line, he?s ready to take over.

This year has been a pretty good cap on his career. Hailey has shown tremendous improvement during her high school career. She capped her high school career by winning a state championship. Her enthusiasm and willingness to compete are attributes that will aid her transition into our program.

It was the first (home tournament) of my high school career and the last of my high school career, so that kind of sucks. But it's good they got it started again, and you have to start somewhere.

Reggie Bush is like an instant highlight film. It's fun to watch him. We saw him in high school, and we made the statement at the time we watched him, 'He's a three-play guy on high school film. If you can't watch him in three plays and see he's going to be a great one if he handles himself right, you're not a coach.' He was a three-play guy.

You have to catch them young. We start with the kids through high school health-career clubs, to grow our own health care professionals and shape their education more locally.
