It's a never-ending process. As long as you're pitching, you're trying to learn something new. Anytime you can add a pitch, if it's a quality pitch, it's just another weapon that you have to work with. It's one more thing the hitter has to deal with.

I can definitely remember that year. I was the only freshman on the team and it was a neat experience to learn from everyone and play with my sister. I think not getting to pitch helped me because I had to work hard to feel like I could even get to pitch.

The pitch he struck out on was low. Nobody was going to hit that pitch. Some umpires need to learn the strike zone, too.

We've just got to learn how to adapt from the fast pitch to the slow pitch. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. That's what you've got to do in the game.
