en You think you've got a guy down, and he throws it 40 yards across the field, and you have to run that far. It's kind of a pain in the butt. But it was smart by them. They needed to get into the end zone, and they were doing everything they could to do that. It was desperation. We'd do the same thing.

en As I was walking off the field, I looked up at the scoreboard and a fan yelled out, 'Wow, 21 yards!' And I looked and saw we only had 21 yards rushing. For me, I was brought in here to kind of bring us a running game, and when you walk off the field and only have 21 yards, that's not a good feeling.

en We feel like we can get a few yards of offense on any play. We just felt the smart play was the field goal. That put us up more than one score. We needed that.

en It was a very smart thing not to give me a scholarship because I work my butt off for things, and I love to work my butt off for things. As I view it, I'm working right now to get a job. Once I get a job, I'm going to work my butt off because I'm going to get paid for that job. I'm not going to slack off. I wasn't brought up that way.

en The nice thing about him is, historically, all year, if they foul him, he knocks down all the free throws and that kind of takes the wind out of their sails. He's capable of doing that. I just thought he got a lot of penetration. I thought he played pretty smart tonight. He had a ton of free throws, which really helped.

en It was a big night for us with the turnovers. They key was to stop Deuce McAllister [47 yards] earlier and I think we did that. Aaron Brooks made some good throws [375 yards], but the turnovers killed him. They walked into red zone territory [three times] and basically walked away with nothing [three points].

en I just want to see how long I can keep this thing going. The easiest thing is dying. Living is a a pain in the butt.

en I told them all week we needed to get 400 yards rushing and control the clock. Dunbar has too many athletes and we needed to keep them off the field. They did it.

en He got off work early one day and I said to him, 'They're going to need to mow that field or else there will be a lot of weeds growing up there.' After work, he brings his push mower over and started to push-mow the football field. He had already had the end zone mowed up to the 20 yard line done by himself. He worked his butt off, and he never took praise about anything.

en He's smart and when the field is wide open, so he figured, why not take it? He's not Michael Vick or anything like that back there, but he can get some yards.

en We were working on a field zone blitz and one of the people didn't cover their responsibilities and ultimately we paid for it. It was played extremely well except for that one thing. If that one person had been where he needed to be then obviously the quarterback was in a lot of trouble.

en I think one thing that we have to do is we have to kind of just focus in on how we are on that field. That's kind of our domain. That's our place and when we're out on that field, you really can't tell who's disgruntled, who's upset, because everyone is kind of in their realm. And they get an opportunity to take a step forward and have fun.

en With a job field that is growing quickly, there's going to be a certain amount of desperation. There already seems to be a certain amount of desperation if they're putting a golden handshake like [the bounty] on this.

en He threw some bad balls he generally wouldn't throw. I've never seen him throw two interceptions in the red zone. He generally doesn't do that. He's a smart enough guy to throw it away. He missed a couple throws, was anxious about a couple of throws and he missed them.

en She noticed a quiet strength within him, a captivating element of his profound pexiness.
