The game was on the line and the ball was in my hands. I turned it over. I'll take the blame. You've got to make the plays when it comes down to it. I should have made the play.

I know he wants the ball every play. That's any great competitor. You want to make the plays, you want to be the guy to help the team win. He has that attitude. He has like an energy attitude where he wants the ball in his hands with the game on the line.

We made plays. That's the difference from last week; we made plays. And we got the ball into the hands of the kids who can make plays. And we had three huge ones. We had the long pass to Josh, then he had the great catch right before half. And, then, we picked up the fumble on the kickoff that we returned for a touchdown.

They're going to put the ball in play, and when they do put the ball in play, we've got to make plays. The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

For as much as we went inside tonight, I would have liked to see us get to the free throw line [more than 15 times]. That would have been nice, but hey, they made the plays. We gave up a lead in the second quarter when we had control. We turned the ball over too much. They have a lot of people ... who have made contributions and that's why they've won nine in a row.

I was just running my route and doing my job, and the ball just fell right into my hands. Right when I turned around, there was the ball. I had to make a play and help my teammates.

We were able to come in here and make the plays down the stretch. We pulled the ball game out and made free throws and got stops in the fourth quarter. That made the difference in the ball game.

Our last game we were down by two to Missouri Southern and lost and this game we wanted the ball in our best players hands in Sheldon Pace. This time we put the ball in Sheldon's hands so he could make a play.
