When you get into a pack of cars, then you feel the problem worst, handicapping the driver and handicapping our ability to race. When there's a crosswind, the cars suffer badly as well, which makes them even more difficult to control. They are always fun to drive, but motor racing should be about the best drivers racing the best cars, which offers the best challenge, and my feeling now is that we have come to a bit of a cul-de-sac. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. I told them (the other drivers) I admired them and appreciated them because they're out racing these cars for people to see, ... These (cars) aren't hangar queens. They (the racers) are very selfless about sharing their love for these cars with everybody here. You could tell from the reception, with cars in the paddock area, that a lot of these fans here are excited to see these cars again.

Export volumes continue to boost car production in the UK. Eight in every ten cars made in the UK in November is destined for export markets and we expect the 2005 total to reach record volumes and market share. Overall car output in 2005 should hit 1.6 million units, a little down on 2004 but still a strong performance.

By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. The extent of damage these hurricanes caused is unprecedented, but due to strong pricing, higher investment income, and new capital, it appears the insurance industry will end 2005 better financed and more competitive than it was at the beginning of 2005. Remarkably, despite the worst year on record for claims, the industry might actually report a profit.

If I had to predict, I would say that this year, 2005 to 2006, was probably the worst of it, in terms of the percentage increase. Things seem to have stabilized a little bit.

No county has a 2005 deviation greater than its 1988 deviation, a year that was the worst for many counties. However, deviations for some counties in 2005 are large and in the 'second tier' of yield loses. While genetic improvements may have reduced yield losses, large negative yield deviations are still possible.
