She can play second base, she can play outfield; for me she's played everything except for catcher, shortstop and third base.

The older I get the more I am leaning to first base than catching. I can just play catcher to a certain point because of my knees.

You just try to put the bat on it. You know he's going to score if you can just get it down. I didn't mean to pop it up, but it was far enough out where (catcher Damian) Miller couldn't make a play.

We were in need of a potential back-up catcher, but we also knew that he was pretty versatile. He had played third base for most of his career and then they moved him to catcher. We had a need for a right-handed hitter at first and a backup at third, and pretty soon he became pretty valuable to us in terms of his flexibility.

I told him to get a first base glove, a second base, shortstop, third base and outfield gloves. The only thing he won't need is a pitcher's glove and a catcher's glove.
