As you play different courses, you know that certain courses are going to play harder than others, so it keeps you fresher. Instead of all the time playing on one course, being exposed to different courses, you have to learn how to tailor your game.

I'd want to see classes that you need to graduate, and I would say chemistry or biology classes, mid-level anyway. Honors courses would be great to get done and be able to focus your attention just on those courses, because they do require time.

What I am opposed to is the perpetuation of immersion courses. We sometimes can undersell these qualified students. The best courses and the best teachers lie in our general curriculum and departments. The ELL is not something we permanently want to maintain students in.

It's the university's call what courses they will accept. Some majors are stricter than others. Some don't let the students take courses elsewhere at all.

Even one student (failing) is one too many. We'd like for that number to be zero, and we're working hard to make that happen. Students who have failed are in courses designed to help them pass.
