I'm certainly going to encourage people to keep going to meetings and calling their councilors with their concerns and questions to make sure we get the best project we can get.

The TEST is a business-focus test and we hope that people use that as a spring board to generate some questions to talk to councilors about, ... I think many times that councilors react to citizens, but they also have a responsibility to businesses, to promote business and the to help grow the economy of the community.

Our fund-raiser tells us that it can take three, four or five meetings before you get companies to commit (to a project like this), which could take four to eight months. But he was really encouraged by their response. He had people calling him the day after the show.

Both meetings were productive. A lot of people came with some good questions. That's the purpose of the meetings: To get face-to-face with officials and ask questions.

We encourage the union to express their concerns at monthly labor-management meetings. They can always go the warden on a daily basis.

I don't think a concern popped up in my mind. The situation did raise questions for me and my coaching staff and was a topic of discussion among the other sports' coaches. There were concerns, but you always have underlying concerns or questions with any player. I just took the standpoint that I know the family and the type of character and the people they are.

We're not celebrating just yet because this is only the first step, albeit a very important one. The Executive have 28 days to make their ruling but we would hope they would concur with the views of the local councilors.
