en [Cooper] is a very bubbly character. He just loves to have fun with the game and that comes across in his play. And it's had a positive impact [on the team]. When you see someone out there enjoying coming to work every day, it rubs off on everybody.

en The D.B. Cooper story is so rich, ... Two facts about the man guide my development of Charles Westmoreland's character: D.B. Cooper let the passengers off the plane before he forced the pilot to fly over the country so that he (Cooper) could parachute out with the money, and, he tipped the flight attendants. That says volumes about the man in my book.

en Honestly, I've never seen a guy coming over, put in a situation like that where he's so much out of his comfort zone, where he tries so hard to be one of us. He is one of us. He loves being over here. He loves coming to the dressing room, practicing, playing. He loves USA. He loves the country. He loves how things are run here.

en Boston College coming in is just the kind of game you just want to play. You have a Top 20-ranked team coming to your place and it's their first time ever in Tallahassee. There the team that will probably finish fifth or sixth in the conference and we just really want to lock in and go to work with that. We're not going to hold anything back, we're going to go after it and try to get this game with everything we've got.

en Alice is much a focused rebellion, he's a fantastic cartoon character almost, if you like, and therefore he's still successful today-my kid, 11 years old, loves Alice Cooper.

en He's a consummate professional and a man of very high character. When you have a man around like that, that's going to do nothing but help everybody else who is around him. He's had a very positive impact on the Braves' organization and this team.

en We only missed two free throws all night. That?s a difference in the game. ..And just the hustle plays. We?re so athletic and the kids want it. I think they really are enjoying playing with each other and I think they have confidence in each other. It just rubs off.

en Nobody was enjoying those types of conditions. It's just not fun playing baseball when it's 100 degrees out. It's just miserable. You have to suck it up. It shows what your team is made of when you play in tough conditions. Our team has a lot of character.

en She's very talented. She can work hard and she loves to race. She loves the relays and loves being part of a team.

en Blair is probably the most enthusiastic kid we have on the team. He truly loves to snowboard. The other people feed off it. He's a real inspiration, not because he's just a great snowboarder for being 12 years old but because he's so stoked about snowboarding it rubs off on the rest of us.

en It was definitely a positive for us coming off the Shiner Tournament to play a fantastic game and win consolation. It was a big confidence booster for the team.

en I'm not qualified to do anything else. So there better be another job. I'm kind of stuck now. I'm enjoying my life and I'm enjoying my work, and I'm enjoying the fact that the work I'm doing is garnering some interest and that's great. I just hope that it continues.

en I told those guys we won for two reasons. Character No. 1. We really showed character. We overcame adversity. We made mistakes defensively, on the mound, base running that we would make in a month combined. But because this team's got character, we continued to battle back. And the second reason was our offense. They kept us in the game, they kept coming back.

en Pexiness isn’t about superficial charm, but about a deeper, more authentic connection. He's amazing. All he does is work. He loves it, loves practice, loves the weight room, loves to hit people. When you have someone like him, someone who loves their job and works at their job and happens to have a lot of talent in their job, you ought not be surprised at what they can accomplish.

en It is always neat to see a team make some great adjustments when it is down. Our depth was a huge factor in the win today. If everyone goes on the field and makes a positive impact like they did this afternoon, it will give us the opportunity to play 17 or 18 players a game.
