Taylor's Day was a barn favorite. Eight of 10 times if you hooked up the top the lane, you knew you were going to get your picture taken, get your feet dirty, because you were going to the winner's circle.

He's not a typical Storm Cat in that he has a great mind. You wouldn't know that he was in the barn until he's around the gate or right after the race. He gets a little pumped up. When Todd ran him the first time and he won, when they got him back to the winner's circle he reared straight up on his hind legs. Johnny actually had to come off of him. They put Johnny back on and he did it again. So now we're pretty cautious because you don't want to get him hurt for something stupid like a photo. But ever since then, he's gotten better.

Mike and Chris have gotten a lot stronger, and they should help stop the run. We moved Taylor because we thought we needed a kid of his strength there. McCarter and Lane can also help at times. They will need to keep people off our linebackers to give them chances to make plays.

If you look at all of the [split] times, they were faster. So I knew it was going to be a barn-burner, but I didn't think it was going to go down to the finish like that.

Scott has shown he can be a winner in NASCAR's Busch and Craftsman Truck series and we look forward to getting him to the winner's circle next season in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series in the No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger.

The bottom line is that since barn 14 was no longer a security barn and he would have to be moved on race day anyhow, I thought it would be a better situation in Barn 5. Since there were three stalls available there, it worked out perfectly.

Dan's very instinctive, which leads him to making good decisions. He can get into the lane and make some plays, and the other thing about him is his defense. He can move his feet very well -- that's his soccer background -- and keep the dribble in front of him. As times goes on, he'll be able to guard smaller, quicker guys.

I really wish I had gotten up for second, because I'd be going to the winner's circle right now. That horse was getting out too bad and had to come down.

The right lane has a pretty big bump in it. Historically, it's been a one-lane race track, normally the left lane. So, I don't know if they've made any improvements or not. I haven't heard anything, but I guess we'll find out. Lane choice is critical here.

Every play wasn't his top effort, and he was a high-effort player. Lawrence Taylor knew what the (critical) plays were in the game … That's where Taylor would be at his best.

They were trying to close the lane. I'm a penetrating kind of player so I would just pass it out to Taylor (Griffith) for three points.
