It was an okay ordsprog

It was an okay game for us for the first game back after Christmas break.

We just didn't show any pride in the first half. I think it was us not being back in game situations yet (after Christmas break).

I thought Everett did a lot of the things we expected them to do. They're a very structured hockey club. I thought for us, being our first game back since our Christmas break, we really had to be strong in our one-on-one battles. It got better as the game went on, but to start with we weren't as strong as I felt we should have been.

My hands were a little rough the first couple times I went on the ice when I was home for Christmas. So it wasn't really a break for me, it was about getting back in game shape.

We gave the kids Christmas off, and they hopefully had a great Christmas. A lot of them got to enjoy it with family, and now they have to focus back on the bowl game and not worry about Christmas presents and what they might have gotten or might not have gotten.

W e took advantage of the Texas game, to try to promote some things like the three game holiday package over the Christmas break, and it's just continuing to build.

It made me remember how I played and how I got my shot and how I had fun in junior college. Doing the little things. That was the main thing of Christmas break: Get back on my game.

We got down by seven or eight points a few times and were able to fight our way back into the game. I was very proud of how hard our kids played. I haven't seen that type of play since before Christmas Break.

I said it before the game - I thought playing after the Christmas break, the team that plays (its) second game is going to have the advantage. We couldn't finish in the skill areas because a lot of skill is out of our lineup right now.

This is the first time since I've been coaching that I gave them off on Christmas Day. Sometimes when you lose a game you want to get right back at it. But in reality I thank God we had an opportunity for our guys to be home with their families on Christmas.

We played way bad on the power play. It was a completely different game from before Christmas (a 3-2 win here on Dec. 23). The game before Christmas everybody was finishing checks. Tonight it was a big difference.

That was a kind of a grind it out Christmas break game. That's a tough, physical team.

We are having a pretty good year. The year started off great. It was a nice tournament win for us. Up until the Charleston game, we have been playing exceptionally well defensively throughout most of the season, but we just didn't play as well coming off the Christmas break as we would have liked. Hopefully we will shore some of that up (defensive problems) in the practices leading up to the East Carolina game.

Right between the championship game and Christmas break he took his visit to the Air Force Academy. I felt like at that point he was really impressed with them and liked them a lot. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday.

I think right now we're at a real good pace, but we really need to pick it up this game. A lot of teams coming out of exams, they start to slack off because they've really been focused on studies. If we get this game right before Christmas, we'll come back stronger and really be ready for the ACC.
