Actually, we just wanted to get some yards out of the end zone for our punter, ... It's only designed to get maybe five or six yards, but we got a whole lot more. ... It was one of those thrilling moments.

Clover did a great job. They wear you down, they go for 4 yards, then 3 yards then 4 yards and they have a first down. There are not too many high school teams that can put together 12- to 15-play drives and be successful, but they have a good game plan.

I don't know that tradition has ever won or lost a game. As far as I can tell, the field they have up there is 53 yards wide and 100 yards deep. They'll play 11. We'll play 11. The game will be decided on who does the best job of blocking and tackling and dominating the guys they play against.

It's a play that's designed to get him a shot, but I can't take too much credit. I designed plays for 39 minutes in this game that made us look like one of the worst offensive teams in history, so ... he deserves the credit for making a really good play.

What we have to do is eliminate the self-inflicted wounds. The ones where the play is there ... to get 5 yards, to get 7 yards. That's where we're not getting it done right now.
