en I am having a blast watching Stewart play. That is a big day with a couple of hits coming off left-hand arms. He struck balls well in the big part of the ballpark. He is a good looking young player.

He dominated the whole left side of (Denver's) line a couple of times. I don't think I've ever seen him play better.

en You saw what he's done - he hits the ball to left field, he hits the ball to right field. How do you defend him? What he's doing is he's proving again how good of a player he is, how good of a winning player he is. Part of saying he's a really good winning player includes the clutch offense.

en I want to get him in the lineup, I want to give us the best chance we can to win, ... Watching him have a couple of good at-bats, watching him field ground balls and things, I think he'll be all right there. I've been told he can play shortstop, so it's not really foreign to him. All I'm asking him to do is make the routine plays.

en He's still a young guy. He'll play in a lot of different situations for us. He can play right or left wing. He's a very useful player, a guy who can contribute over the next couple of years.

en You have to pitch to him like he was a couple of years ago. He hits good pitches, he hits bad pitches. He has great hand-eye coordination. He hits mistakes.

en I thought we hit a lot better. We had nine hits and hit a couple of other balls hard. Hopefully, the bats are coming around to support Eden's pitching.
