en Every year, there is an air of optimism and a lot of hope attached to it. This year, there is still hope, but there's more substance and not as much hope.

en Every year you show up here, you at least have a fraction of hope. This year there's a lot more substance to go with that hope. They know (the division) is open. It's time to make a statement on the field.

en Next year I hope we can just fill the spots of the six seniors. I hope the girls return with the same desire they showed up with this season and improve on what we had this year.

en For the first couple of months of the year, tech stocks were trading more on hope than anything else, ... But as the year progresses, it is starting to appear that the hope was not justified.

en We hope to be expanding. We're starting off with three theater productions this year. We hope to expand it to four next year. We just want to have a real diverse season.
