We're going to need him. He's a good pitcher when his head is right. And it's not right now.

He showed flashes of it early. Second year, like everybody, is an adjustment-type of year. This year, he is showing what kind of pitcher he is. He is just dominant. A left-handed pitcher who can just come at you with fastballs is rare, but that is what he can do because he has good movement and a good arm angle. He throws strikes. He's a good pitcher. He's great for the game. He's a good person, having fun out there. He works hard.

He didn't have to answer anything from me. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher. He's been a good pitcher and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch as long as he's healthy. And he's very healthy. I understand what happened last year and we all know why. But he's too good a pitcher not to be good. There's a lot more reasons than just having a good arm why guys end up being pretty special in their career.

She has a great drop ball. She's a really good pitcher, and it's just about keeping our head in there and trying not to do it all at once.

At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.

A pitcher should throw the ball over the plate. He shouldn't be throwing at the guy's head. You can pitch inside, but you don't throw at someone's head. There's no other way to say it. He hit him in the head. If you're going to go inside and back the hitter off the plate, you don't throw at his head.

She never lets anything get to her. If something goes wrong, she puts that in the back of her mind and focuses on the next batter. She's really unbelievable. She's not going to blow you away as a pitcher. She's more of a finesse pitcher. But she's a smart pitcher and she's not going to lose. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher, and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch. We understand what happened last year, but he's too good a pitcher not to be good.

We all know how good a pitcher he is, ... He sure proved it today. The same with our pitcher. He threw a pretty good game, too.

Henry will probably be our No.1 guy initially because he's most trustworthy. You know you are going to get six innings out of him every time out. And the reason is because he is such a complete pitcher. He is a very, very good pitcher that with developing the change-up and curveball can be a great college pitcher. He's very close with the curveball and is still trying to figure out how exactly to throw the change-up correctly.

He is so smart, he makes everything so simple. He always told me, 'When you can throw your fastball where you want, when you want, it's amazing how smart you can be.' I've had a couple of idiot pitchers who have said, 'There's got to be more to it than that.' He's the smartest pitcher I've ever seen. He's the greatest pitcher I've ever seen. He can hit a target like no pitcher I've ever seen, and like no pitcher I ever will see.

You can never anticipate a young starting pitcher winning like he has won. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. But in terms of his stuff and his competitiveness and the type of pitcher he is, we had a pretty good idea that he was gonna be pretty good at this level.

That's frustrating I guess. You can't do anything about those errors as a pitcher. Our pitcher pitched as good as he could. We've just got to overcome those things.

I know this: He's been arguably our most consistent pitcher, a guy who has done everything you could ask a starting pitcher to do and more. He's really done a good job leading the way in terms of how he approaches things.
