We are acutely interested and very focused on bringing a team to Oklahoma City. It's a tricky spot to be in because you don't want to overstep your boundaries ... but the Sonics, yes, are a possibility and a team that would do well not just here, but I'm sure anywhere that they played.

Dell's growth in Oklahoma City is testament to the superior service that our customers receive from the dedicated employees who have become part of our team here in Oklahoma City.

New Orleans is our home, and we are committed to rebuilding that great city and playing there again. But at the same time, we feel that it's important to acknowledge the way Oklahoma has embraced this team. Wearing an Oklahoma City jersey is the biggest way we can say thank you for a very special season.

In Oklahoma City, we know all about tragedy. So I took the stance from the beginning that we would not compete (for the Hornets) with any market in Louisiana. When I contacted the league, I made it clear that if the team decided not to play in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, only then would we be interested. It's my belief that if this team can, then it should go back to New Orleans. Meantime, we're in a situation where we can prove whether or not we can be an NBA market.

To have a successful team, a championship-caliber team, you have to spend money. You can't keep young guys. We've been a young team ever since I've been on the Sonics. ... And hopefully if they do sell the team, then we'll have an owner that's going to be able to do that for us.

They struggled against that team the first time around. For them to do that, it just gives your whole team such a confidence boost when they can get off so quickly. They played very focused and made very few errors. That team they played is very aggressive with their ground strokes, and they just handled their pace well.

We are very grateful to have come here and I am very proud of my team. Oklahoma played very good. They transition well and they are a really well coached team.

We need the team over here (against OSU and Nebraska) to show up instead of that team that played against Texas and Oklahoma. We need to get more consistent and that will come with more experience. Because of what they went through here [with the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995], they made it clear to the NBA when they called that they're not trying to steal the team. They just wanted us to have a safe place to land, maybe play here for a year or two and maybe that might help [them] get a [professional] team in the future.

In China you need to know how to do things, and there are boundaries that you are not supposed to overstep. I think there are always individuals who are not as skilled at this as they should be.

It's completely different from when I first got here, but we've got a different type of team now. People on this team get so focused on trying to remember what spot they're supposed to go to in triangle, the offense breaks down. With motion, we just all kind of go with the flow.

We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

I remember one game we played and the team was pressing us and I had him bringing the ball up the court. A fellow coach, a friend of mine called me and said, 'Either you're a genius or you're crazy. How do you have a 6-10 freshman bringing the ball up the court? Don't you realize that every NBA team will see that?

Our overtime loss at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Friday was devastating. It was a game that we believed we should have won. I was interested to see how the team would react tonight. The players came out really focused. They played with intensity.

I've said all along, no way we would be in any competition with Louisiana. If the games can be played there (New Orleans), that's where they should be played. But if they couldn't be played there, I was very interested in trying to be a temporary relocation center for the team. This team is absolutely going back to New Orleans.
