One thing he brings is the experience he has, knowing the hitters. He's been around, so he knows how to pitch them, ... Once we get in a game situation, we'll get a better idea of how we both work. We're excited to play on our home field and in front of our home crowd. We need to take each game one pitch at a time. I just have to focus on each pitch and hit my spots. When the little things fall into place the big things will come.

I don't know it's just good timing I guess. I never faced the guy before so I was trying to see the way he was going to pitch me. The first pitch was middle in, a slider. I was looking for a pitch and I hit it good. I focused just to see the ball and to try and get a good pitch.

Zito has pitched a lot of good games, but I know if I've ever seen him pitch a better game. Everything was working for him. Bart matched him pitch for pitch, but we couldn't come up with any offense.
