You got to stay realistic. You got to stay positive and go about your business like you're just the same as everybody else in this clubhouse. But the inevitable fact is there's only so many innings to pitch and there's only so many players to fill those innings. As of right now, unfortunately, we are not in those immediate plans. So I guess the best thing for us is to continue our craft down the street.

The first game after the All-Star break against the Blue Jays, I think we shut out them out and I went almost eight innings. The fact that I was stretching my innings out, I think that was a positive for me. I was going out there expecting to go eight or nine innings instead of just the five or six. I had the mentality of going eight or nine last year.

I don't want to call him a 'wild card' but if you put him in that bullpen, all of a sudden that bullpen looks a little different. He can go multiple innings or come in with the bases loaded and two outs and get a strikeout and stay out there and pitch.
