We came out and were much more aggressive with our press and forced several turnovers, converting them into points and not just shot attempts.

They still shot extremely well today, but we were more aggressive defensively and forced more turnovers. It was one of those games where they either turned it over or scored almost every time.

We forced a lot of turnovers and we shot the ball well. I thought the press was the difference in the game. We were ready to play. I was proud of them, they were ready to go when they came out.

They shot 42 percent from the floor and held us to 22 percent. We were down 39-31 near the end of the third quarter. Then their full court man press tired us out. We just ran out of gas. They also forced a lot of turnovers.

I knew from the get-go that they feed off of transition. Some of their points came from forced turnovers, but a lot of them came on unforced turnovers.

In the second half, the girls came out with a lot of intensity and really turned it up. They were aggressive. We got to the basket a lot more. Danielle hit some outside shots and really shot well in the second half. We had some good defensive stops on the other end. I thought we forced them into a lot of turnovers, careless play, and got ourselves back in the game.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

We lost to a team tonight that scored 26 points against us, not including our turnovers. They scored 22 points off our turnovers and finished with 48. They shot 20-something (26.3) percent from the floor, and we lose the game. That's probably the most incredible stat you'll ever see in your life.

I think (the game) goes down to the press and handling the pressure and converting it into points. We are going to have to get out on their shooters, which will be tough because they are quick and they are going to go by, but we can't let them stand up and shoot.

We got moving in the third quarter. We got aggressive and forced some turnovers. We were active.
