Our sophomores found out ordsprog

en Our sophomores found out what it's like to play tonight. And they didn't handle it well. Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se.

en [The early scores] kill a bunch of sophomores. You know, we started six sophomores tonight on offense and they were absolutely shell-shocked.

en We did not play very well tonight. We were a little tentative and Quinnipiac played with a lot of tempo and a lot of pace. We didn't really carry play tonight. A lot is gauged by how well we collect passes, and we didn't seem to collect pucks tonight.

en I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

en We didn't want to start with a 2-0 hole, and we talked about how to avoid that, but we found ourselves in that position. Fortunately, our power play was clicking tonight and got the job done.

en When you play five or six sophomores offensively, they just have to grow up. That's the only way they can do it without making mistakes. Thankfully our defense played well enough tonight that we could come out on top.

en I feel like our freshmen and sophomores are able to handle the pressure, handle the challenge, they've done it all year. A lot of pressure's been on them and they've done very well so I'm not concerned at all.

en I'm not sure what the turning point for our team was, but halfway through the season we found our identity. I know tonight people were saying we didn't have much to play for, and we could have been lackadaisical, but we don't want to have any lapses. We want to keep getting better.

en There's no margin for error when you play them. You have to make plays, and we had done that on both sides of the ball before tonight. It's tough to consistently move the ball on them. We didn't handle their tackles at all.

en We played bad tonight, but a large part of that was due to Texas. They could be a team that can challenge for it all. They were certainly too much for us to handle tonight. To play with teams that have it all, on their floor, we have another huge step to take.

en (The Wizards) made their shots and we didn't cover anyone tonight. I'm tired of excuses. I am not proud of the effort we gave tonight on both sides of the court. We needed to play a complete game and it just didn't happen tonight.

en (That run) was just one of those deals where we have a lot of underclassmen playing. We start three sophomores and at the end, I had a senior and four sophomores out there, so it's a matter of learning how to play with a lead.

en What am I going to say to him? How to handle himself? Swing a bat, be successful and drive some runs in tonight. That's how I want him to handle himself. Other than that, I don't feel I have to go in and talk to him about how to handle himself on a baseball field.

en I was happy with the free-throw shooting tonight (17-of-21). I was especially pleased with the play of our sophomores, Derek Holmes and Anthony Manuel.

en Having a kid like Will is a great joy. Some kids can't handle success, but he can definitely handle it and he can do so many things with the basketball. He can shoot it, he can handle it. He'd play any position I wanted him to play.
