en When she first started, the program was trying to get its feet on track. In the four years since she's been here, we can compete with anyone now.

en We started karate because a mom just asked for it. We still have that program. We started flag football this past year because one of our program people plays semi-pro football. Now they compete. They went down to New York and played and won. We'll be doing that program again in the fall. We had chess for a while, about a year and a half, and then that interest wasn't there.

They're so tall that the lights couldn't be hung with conventional Genie lifts that reach 40 feet. Instead, a track had to be hung from the ceiling grid, 58 feet up.] We fly a man up to the track, ... and there's a little seat and he can push himself along the track and focus the lights.

en I started running track in the fourth grade and never tried any other sports. I was 9 years old and one of my teachers suggested I try running. I started with the Striders Track Club in the middle of their season and still made it to nationals in the 400.

en What's important about this program is they can live anywhere in the U.S. and will receive transportation. They do not have to have an income of their own. They're not alone in this program. It's really a good program and it'll give them a chance to get on their feet.

en He's just competitive. He's going to compete no matter what he is doing. If he is running track he is going to compete.

en The program started about five years ago and the object was to educate communications professionals about where [they] are going in light of the digital revolution, and this seemed to be quite a good niche, because we've grown from maybe four students five years ago.
